Luxury Hotel in Buenos Aires Continues $40 Million Renovations
Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires is revealing the first fruits of a $40 million renovation, with a debut of redesigned rooms and suites, a refurbished lobby, and freshened up hotel grounds. The renovations have also brought three new dining and drinking options to Buenos Aires, that are quickly becoming some of the city’s favorite watering holes.
The final phase of the renovation, a refurbishment of the hotel's meetings spaces, is set to be completed later this year. "Every aspect of our guests' stay has been considered as part of the planning for this ambitious renovations project," says Rebeca Selley, general manager of the Hotel, who was recently named one of just five Hotelier of the Year finalists in the world by Virtuoso. "From stunning new works by local artists to beautifully decorated guest rooms, delicious new menus and a unique new outdoor event and dining venue, porteños and visitors alike will be inspired by the passion of the city and the corazón of Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires."

Luxury Hotel in Rio De Janeiro Gets a Makeover For its 90th Birthday
Orient-Express is pleased to announce that it has completed a substantial $20 million refurbishment of the main building of the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project began in 2011 and has just been completed to include an expanded lobby as well as expanded and enhanced guestrooms and a Cipriani restaurant. As part of the renovations, Copacabana Palace has also introduced two new boutiques inspired by the energy and spirit of Rio, in partnership with retail management firm, Seaside Luxe. Both boutiques, named 1923 and Villa Copa, will sell a range of stylish apparel including swimwear and accessories for men and women – ranging from chic basics to one-of-a-kind designer exclusives by both local and international designers. The completion of the refurbishment at the hotel will kick start a year of celebrations, as the hotel enters its 90th year.
