Nowadays, cigarettes are (mostly) publicly frowned upon, while cigars, on the other hand, still carry with them a certain level of joie de vivre. Think about it, what else would Winston Churchill and Babe Ruth have in common if not for that rolled bundle of tobacco? With its blend of old and new, Atlantic City is one of those places where puffing on a cigar still seems classic and elegant. So the next time you’re in town, make sure to check out these four locations with great cigar lounges.
A Time for Wine
With three locations in Atlantic City, A Time for Wine is doing pretty well for itself. Found in Tropicana, Caesars, and Resorts Casino & Hotel, the store has around 350 cigar brands to choose from, as well as over 1,000 wine labels, liquor brands and beers. In short, a visit to AC wouldn't be complete without stopping by A Time for Wine.
B Bar at Borgata Casino
Located in the middle of Borgata's casino floor, the lounge-like B Bar is encircled by curtains to give it a private feel. The drawback? It doesn’t serve food. But if you’re looking for a great place to smoke and gamble in peace, the B Bar may be it.
Marc’s Cigars
With a wide collection of cigars (including rare and limited editions), Marc’s Cigars is a good place to visit if there’s a label you’re searching for. Plus, the have an indoor lounge where you can relax and try out your new purchases.
Xhibition Bar at Harrah’s Resort
Found in the middle of the casino, X Bar at Harrah's Resort is a circular lounge full of television screens to catch sports games and enjoy some cocktails. With a DJ spinning top hits and cigars welcome, this is a great spot to relax for as long as you want—or at least until it closes at five in the morning.
